Research progress on hydration resistance of CaO-based refractories and their application

摘要: CaO质耐火材料具有优异的耐碱性渣侵蚀性能和净化钢液特性,被广泛应用于洁净钢及特种合金钢的生产,但CaO易水化是导致其损毁的主要因素。综述了CaO质耐火材料抗水化方法和机制,总结了其在钢包、中间包以及坩埚等场景的应用现状及仍存在的一些问题,并对未来发展方向进行了展望。

Abstract: CaO-based refractories are widely used in the production of clean steel and special alloy steel owing to their excellent resistance to basic slag corrosion and the ability to purify molten steel.However,the easy hydration of CaO is the main factor for their damage.In this work,the anti-hydration methods and mechanisms of CaO-based refractories were reviewed,their application status in scenarios such as steel ladles,tundishes and crucibles as well as the existing problems was summarized,and their future development directions were prospected.
