分散剂对柠檬酸镁溶胶性能的影响

摘要: 胶体的团聚是制约溶胶结合剂在耐火材料应用的重要因素,以无水柠檬酸镁和轻烧氧化镁粉为原料,聚乙二醇(PEG)、三聚磷酸钠(STP)和十二烷基苯磺酸钠(SDBS)为分散剂,制备了柠檬酸镁(MC)溶胶,研究了柠檬酸溶液浓度(0.2、0.3、0.4、0.5、0.6、0.7和0.8 mol·L-1)和分散剂种类及其加入量(溶胶质量的0、0.05%、0.1%、0.2%、0.3%和0.4%)对柠檬酸镁溶胶稳定性的影响。结果表明:随着柠檬酸溶液浓度的增大,Zeta电位绝对值逐渐减小,而电导率、黏度和MgO的固相质量分数逐渐增大,溶胶的稳定性呈递减趋势,采用0.7 mol·L-1柠檬酸溶液制备的溶胶在稳定性和黏度方面均优于其他试样的;3种分散剂的分散效果从高到低顺序依次为:SDBS>STP>PEG,且SDBS使柠檬酸镁溶胶胶体的粒径减小,同时Zeta电位绝对值增大,显著提高胶体的稳定性;PEG、STP和SDBS最佳加入量(w)分别为0.2%、0.1%和0.05%。

Abstract: Colloid agglomeration is an important factor restricting the application of sol binder in refractory materials.In this paper,magnesium citrate (MC) sol was prepared by using anhydrous magnesium citrate and light burned magnesium oxide powder as raw materials,polyethylene glycol (PEG),sodium tripolyphosphate (STP) and sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate (SDBS) as dispersants.The effects of citric acid solution concentration (0.2-0.8 mol·L-1) and dispersant and its addition amount (0-0.4%,weight percentage) on the stability of magnesium citrate sol were studied.The results showed that with the increase of the concentration of citric acid solution,the Zeta potential value decreased gradually,while the conductivity,viscosity and solid mass fraction of MgO increased gradually,and the stability of the sol showed a decreasing trend.The sol prepared by 0.7 mol·L-1 citric acid solution was superior to other samples in terms of stability and viscosity.The order of the dispersion effect of the three dispersants from high to low is :SDBS > STP > PEG,and SDBS reduces the particle size of the magnesium citrate sol,and the absolute value of the Zeta potential increases,which significantly improves the stability of the colloid.The optimal addition amounts of PEG,STP,and SDBS are respectively 0.2%,0.1%,and 0.05%.
