Research progress on properties and applications of alumina-toughened zirconia composites

Abstract

Abstract: Alumina-toughened zirconia (ATZ) composites combine the excellent properties of both alumina and zirconia ceramics,and have broad application prospects in the industries field.The influencing factors of tetragonal zirconia stability in ATZ composites were discussed.The methods for improving the physical properties of ATZ composites and their application fields were summarized.Finally,the development prospect of ATZ composites was also expected.

摘要： 氧化铝增韧氧化锆(ATZ)材料结合了氧化铝和氧化锆2种陶瓷的优异性能,在工业领域具有广泛的应用前景。对ATZ材料中四方相氧化锆稳定性的影响因素进行了探讨,综述了ATZ材料的物理性能的提高方法,总结了其应用领域,最后对ATZ材料的发展前景进行了展望。
