四种电熔镁砂颗粒对镁碳砖性能的影响

摘要:

为了探究不同电熔镁砂颗粒对镁碳砖性能的影响,以粒度均为6~3、3~1、1~0.074、≤0.074 mm的97电熔镁砂、97.5电熔镁砂、97.5二钙电熔镁砂、97.5大结晶电熔镁砂4种镁砂为骨料,粒度≤0.074 mm的97.5大结晶电熔镁砂粉料为基质,酚醛树脂为结合剂,-196石墨为碳源,制备了4种镁碳砖试样。按照国标检测了4种镁碳砖试样的体积密度、显气孔率、常温耐压强度、高温抗折强度、抗渣性、抗氧化性以及试样的物相组成和显微结构。结果表明:1)方镁石晶粒大小、高温液相含量、高熔点相是影响镁碳砖试样性能的三大因素。2)方镁石晶粒越大,镁碳砖试样各种使用性能越好。3)高温液相含量是降低镁碳砖试样高温使用性能的主要因素之一。4)高熔点相会增大镁碳砖试样的显气孔率,降低其常温耐压强度和高温抗折强度,对抗氧化性和抗渣性影响明显。

Abstract:

In order to explore the effect of different fused magnesia particles on their properties,four kinds of magnesia-carbon brick samples were prepared using 97 fused magnesia,97.5 fused magnesia,97.5 fused magnesia (with mole ratio of CaO∶SiO2 >2) and 97.5 large crystalline fused magnesia as aggregates (all of them with the particle size of 6-3,3-1,1-0.074 and ≤0.074 mm),97.5 large crystalline fused magnesia powder (≤0.074 mm) as the matrix,phenolic resin as the binder and -196 graphite as the carbon source.The bulk density,the apparent porosity,the cold compressive strength,the hot modulus of rupture,the slag resistance,and the oxidation resistance of the samples as well as the phase composition and microstructure were tested according to the national standards.The results show that:(1)the periclase grain size,the hot liquid content and the high melting point phase are the three major factors affecting the properties of the magnesia-carbon brick samples;(2)the larger the grain size of periclase,the better the performance of the samples;(3)the hot liquid content is one of the main factors to reduce the hot performance of the samples;(4)the high melting point phase increases the apparent porosity of the samples,reduces the cold compressive strength and the hot modulus of rupture,and has obvious effects on the oxidation resistance and the slag resistance.
