表面改性剂对水泥窑用抗侵蚀涂层性能的影响

Influence of surface modifiers on properties of anti-corrosion coatings for cement kilns

摘要: 为提高水泥窑用硅莫质耐火材料抗侵蚀性能,以硅莫砖为基体,煅烧氧化铝粉为填料,铝溶胶为结合剂,分别以十二烷基三甲基溴化铵(DTAB)、聚乙二醇4000(PEG 4000)、十二烷基二甲基甜菜碱(BS-12)和铝锆偶联剂(DH-550)为表面改性剂。采用料浆法经1 450 ℃保温3 h制备抗侵蚀涂层,研究表面改性剂(DTAB、PEG 4000、BS-12和DH-550)对涂层Zeta电位、涂层与基体间结合能力及抗侵蚀性的影响。结果表明:1)改性剂的加入提高了涂层料浆的Zeta电位,使涂层料浆表面张力减小,稳定性提高;2)对于离子型改性剂DTAB和BS-12可通过解离产生阴离子,利用静电作用提高料浆的Zeta电位和稳定性,非离子改性剂PEG 4000和DH-550通过化学键合在料浆填料表面形成有机亲水保护膜,通过空间位阻作用提高Zeta电位和料浆的稳定性;3)涂层的存在可提高硅莫砖抗侵蚀性能,最佳改性剂为DH-550。添加DH-550的试样经1 450 ℃热处理后,涂层与基体间结合致密,涂层内未见气孔和裂纹,表现出优良的抗侵蚀性。

Abstract: To improve the corrosion resistance of silicon carbide-mullite refractories for cement kilns,anti-corrosion coatings were prepared by the slurry method using silica-mullite bricks as the substrate,calcined alumina powder as the filler,alumina sol as the binder,as well as dodecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (DTAB),polyethylene glycol 4000 (PEG 4000),dodecyl dimethyl betaine (BS-12) and aluminum zirconium coupling agent (DH-550) as the surface modifiers,respectively,insulating at 1 450 ℃ for 3 h.The effects of the surface modifiers on the Zeta potential of the coatings,the bonding ability between the coating and the substrate as well as the corrosion resistance of the coatings were studied.The results show that:(1)the modifiers increase the Zeta potential of the coating slurry,reduce the surface tension,and improve the stability;(2)for ionic modifiers DTAB and BS-12,anions can be generated by dissociation,so the Zeta potential of the slurry is increased and the stability is improved by electrostatic interaction;for non-ionic modifiers PEG 4000 and DH-550,an organic hydrophilic protective film is formed on the surface of the slurry filler by chemical bonding,thereby increasing the Zeta potential and improving the stability of the slurry through steric hindrance;(3)the coating can improve the corrosion resistance of the silicon carbide-mullite brick,and the best modifier is DH-550.For the sample with DH-550 after heat treatment at 1 450 ℃,the coating and the substrate are tightly bonded,and there are no pores and cracks in the coating,showing excellent corrosion resistance.
