Research on iron slag corrosion resistance of high alumina bauxite clinker

高铝矾土熟料抗铁渣侵蚀性研究

Abstract:

The slag resistance of two kinds of natural bauxite clinker blocks and three kinds of homogenized bauxite clinker blocks was studied by cutting and static crucible inlaying at 1 500 ℃ for 6 h.The results show that the iron slag resistance of the natural bauxite clinkers is significantly better than that of the homogenization bauxite clinkers,which has no positive correlation with the Al2O3 content and the water absorption rate;for natural bauxite clinker with Al2O3 content more than 88 mass%,the water absorption rate determines the slag resistance;for homogenized bauxite clinker,the iron slag resistance increases with the increase of the Al2O3 content,has no correlation with the water absorption.According to SEM,it can be found that the difference of glass phase distribution is the main reason for the huge difference of the iron slag resistance between natural bauxite clinkers and homogeneous bauxite clinkers.Therefore,no matter the alumina content,homogenization bauxite clinkers are not suitable for the parts contacting with molten slag,such as iron runners.

摘要:

对2种天然矾土熟料块和3种均化矾土熟料块,通过切割和静态坩埚镶嵌的方法进行了1 500 ℃保温 6 h 的抗铁渣试验研究。结果发现:天然矾土熟料的抗铁渣侵蚀性显著优于均化矾土熟料的,与Al2O3含量和吸水率无正相关性;对于Al2O3含量88%(w)以上的高档天然铝矾土熟料,吸水率高低决定着抗铁渣侵蚀性能的优劣;对于均化铝矾土料,抗铁渣侵蚀性随Al2O3含量增加而增强,而与吸水率无关。通过SEM观察发现,玻璃相分布状态差异是导致天然矾土料和均化矾土料之间抗铁渣侵蚀性差异巨大的主要原因。因此,均化矾土料无论Al2O3含量高低,均不适合在铁沟等与熔融铁渣接触的部位使用。
