Research progress on zirconia-containing refractories

含锆耐火材料的研究进展

Abstract: The research progress of high-zirconia refractories,zirconia-containing magnesia refractories,zirconia-containing calcia refractories,zirconia-containing corundum refractories and non-oxides-ZrO2 composite refractories was reviewed.It is found that:(1)the reasonable selection of stabilizers for ZrO2 raw materials can effectively improve the thermal shock resistance of high-zirconia refractories and prolong the service life;(2)pre-synthetic raw materials (such as magnesia zirconia sand,CaZrO3,zirconia-mullite,granulated zirconia micropowder and Zr(OH)4 gel) and lightweight zirconia-containing raw materials (such as zirconia hollow beads) perform good application effects in magnesia refractories,calcia refractories and corundum refractories;(3)zircon sand is suitable for preparing non-oxides-ZrO2 composites and some monolithic refractories.Based on this,the research direction of zirconia-containing refractories in the future was put forward.

摘要: 综述了高锆质材料、含锆镁质材料、含锆钙质材料、含锆刚玉质材料及非氧化物-ZrO2复合耐火材料的研究概况,发现:1)合理选择ZrO2原料的稳定剂类型,可以有效改善高锆质耐火材料的抗热震性能并提高使用寿命;2)预合成原料(镁锆砂、CaZrO3、锆莫来石、造粒氧化锆微粉和Zr(OH)4凝胶等)和轻质含ZrO2原料(ZrO2空心球微珠等)可以在镁质、钙质及刚玉质耐火材料中取得较好的应用效果;3)锆英砂适用于制备非氧化物-ZrO2复合材料及部分不定形耐火材料。基于此,提出了含锆耐火材料未来需要重点关注的研究方向。
