Synergistic preparation of foamed ceramics using lepidolite tailings and waste glass

锂云母尾矿和废玻璃协同制备发泡陶瓷

Abstract: The environmental issues caused by the stockpiling of lepidolite tailings urgently need to be addressed.Foamed ceramics were prepared via high-temperature sintering using lepidolite tailings as the main raw material,waste glass as the auxiliary raw material,and silicon carbide as the foaming agent.The effects of the SiC additions (0.1%,0.3%,0.5%,0.7%,and 0.9%,by mass),waste glass additions (5%,10%,15%,20%,and 25%,by mass) and heat treatment temperatures (1 120,1 140,1 160,1 180,and 1 200 ℃) on the properties of the foamed ceramics were investigated.The results show that: when the SiC addition is 0.5%,the waste glass addition is 15%,and the heat treatment temperature is 1 160 ℃,the foamed ceramics exhibit the optimal overall performance,with a bulk density of 0.71 g·cm-3,a water absorption of 0.50%,and a room temperature compressive strength of 9.26 MPa.

摘要: 当前锂云母尾矿堆存引发的资源环境问题亟待解决。以锂云母尾矿为主要原料,废玻璃为辅助原料,碳化硅(SiC)为发泡剂,通过高温烧结法制备发泡陶瓷。研究SiC加入量(质量分数分别为0.1%、0.3%、0.5%、0.7%和0.9%)、废玻璃加入量(质量分数分别为5%、10%、15%、20%和25%)和热处理温度(分别为 1 120、1 140、1 160、1 180和1 200 ℃)对发泡陶瓷性能的影响。结果表明:当SiC加入量为0.5%(w),废玻璃加入量为15%(w),热处理温度为1 160 ℃时,所制发泡陶瓷的各项性能表现较佳,其体积密度为0.71 g·cm-3,吸水率为0.50%,室温压缩强度为9.26 MPa。
