Effect of low-content andalusite powder on properties of Al2O3-SiC-C castables

低掺量红柱石粉对Al2O3-SiC-C浇注料性能的影响

Abstract:

In order to further improve the properties of Al2O3-SiC-C castables,Al2O3-SiC-C castables were prepared using brown fused alumina,silicon carbide,asphalt,andalusite powder,α-Al2O3 micro-powder,SiO2 micro-powder,Si powder,Al powder and Secar 71 cement as raw materials.The effects of low andalusite powder additions (≤0.055 mm;0,1%,2%,3%,and 5%,by mass) to substitute for the same proportion of brown fused alumina fine powder on the density,the strength,the thermal shock resistance and the oxidation resistance of the castables were studied.The results show that with the increase of the andalusite powder addition,the apparent porosity and the bulk density of the fired samples decrease,and the cold modulus of rupture,the hot modulus of rupture,the thermal shock resistance and the oxidation resistance of the fired samples all increase.

摘要:

为了进一步提高Al2O3-SiC-C浇注料的性能,以棕刚玉、碳化硅、沥青、红柱石粉、α-Al2O3微粉、SiO2微粉、Si粉、Al粉、Secar 71水泥为原料制备了Al2O3-SiC-C浇注料,研究了低掺量(质量分数分别为0、1%、2%、3%、5%)红柱石粉(≤0.055 mm)等量替代浇注料中的棕刚玉细粉对浇注料致密度、强度、抗热震性和抗氧化性等的影响。结果表明:随着红柱石粉添加量的增大,烧后试样的显气孔率和体积密度减小,常温抗折强度、高温抗折强度、抗热震性和抗氧化性均增大。
