ZrO2对铝型材厂污泥制备刚玉-堇青石-莫来石复相材料性能的影响

Effects of ZrO2 on properties of corundum-cordierite-mullite composite phase materials prepared by sludge in aluminum profile plant

摘要:

以铝型材厂污泥、高岭土和滑石粉为主要原料,制备刚玉-堇青石-莫来石复相材料的基础上,添加ZrO2(加入质量分数分别为1.0%、1.5%、2.0%、2.5%和3.0%)矿化剂,以期改善复相材料的性能。结果表明:随着ZrO2矿化剂添加量的增加,试样的常温抗折强度和热震后的常温抗折强度呈现出先升高后降低的趋势,其他性能处于波动状态;各试样均含有刚玉、莫来石固溶体和堇青石三种主晶相;当ZrO2添加量为2.5%(w)时,热震后的常温抗折强度及其保持率最高,且晶粒明显长大,整体结构密实,玻璃相很少,能构成完整的网络结构。因此,确定ZrO2矿化剂的最佳添加量为2.5%(w)。

Abstract:

On the basis of preparing corundum-cordierite-mullite composite phase materials,the specimens were prepared using sludge in aluminum profile plant,kaolin and French chalk as main raw materials,adding ZrO2(1.0%,1.5%,2.0%,2.5%,and 3.0%,by mass) as the mineralizer,to improve the performance of the composite phase materials.The results show that with the increase of ZrO2 mineralizer,the cold modulus of rupture and its residual value of the specimens after thermal shock firstly increase and then decrease,while other properties fluctuate.All specimens include three main crystal phases:corundum,mullite solid solution and cordierite.When ZrO2 addition is 2.5%,the cold modulus of rupture of the specimens after thermal shock and the retention ratio are the highest,and the specimen has obviously developed particles,dense structure and few glass phase,which can form a complete network structure.Therefore,the optimal addition of the ZrO2 mineralizer is 2.5%.
