废高铝球粉对莫来石-氧化铝-石英复相材料性能的影响

Effects of waste high alumina sphere powder on performance of mullite-alumina-quartz multiphase materials

摘要: 为实现废电瓷的综合化利用,采用1~0.3、0.3~0.125、≤0.074 mm的废电瓷为主要原料,以废高铝球粉和高岭土为外加剂,水玻璃为结合剂,制备了莫来石-氧化铝-石英复相材料。研究热处理温度(1 200、1 250、1 300和1 350 ℃保温3 h)和废高铝球粉添加量(添加质量分数分别为0、10%、20%、30%)对材料性能的影响。结果表明:1)随着热处理温度的升高,试样的体积密度、常温抗折强度和耐压强度先上升后降低;2)随着废高铝球粉添加量的增加,试样的体积密度逐渐降低,常温抗折强度和耐压强度先上升后降低;3)添加20%(w)废高铝球粉的试样经1 300 ℃热处理后综合性能相对良好,其主要物相为莫来石和α-Al2O3,常温抗折强度和耐压强度分别为66.3和216 MPa。

Abstract: To realize the comprehensive utilization of waste electric porcelain,mullite-alumina-quartz multiphase materials were prepared using waste electric porcelain with particle sizes of 1-0.3,0.3-0.125 and ≤0.074 mm as main raw materials,waste high alumina sphere powder and kaolin as the additives,and sodium silicate as the binder.The effects of heat treatment temperatures (1 200,1 250,1 300 and 1 350 ℃,holding for 3 h) and waste high alumina sphere powder additions (0,10%,20% and 30%,by mass,respectively) on the material properties were studied.The results show that:(1)with the heat treatment temperature rising,the bulk density,cold modulus of rupture (CMOR) and cold compressive strength (CCS) of the samples first increase and then decrease;(2)with the increase of the waste high alumina sphere powder addition,the bulk density gradually decreases,while the CMOR and CCS first increase and then decrease;(3)the samples with 20% waste high alumina sphere powder treated at 1 300 ℃ have relatively good comprehensive performance,with main phases of mullite and α-Al2O3,and the CMOR and CCS are 66.3 and 216 MPa,respectively.
