Effects of high titanium slag addition on properties of Al2O3-SiC-C castables

高钛渣添加量对Al2O3-SiC-C浇注料性能的影响

Abstract: In order to further improve the properties of Al2O3-SiC-C castables used for blast furnace troughs,Al2O3-SiC-C castables were prepared with brown corundum,silicon carbide,spherical pitch,etc.as the main raw materials and high titanium slag as an additive.The effects of the high titanium slag addition (0,1%,2%,3% and 4%,by mass,respectively) and heat treatment temperatures (holding for 3 h at 1 200 ℃ and 1 500 ℃) on the properties of the castables were studied.The results show that:(1)compared with the specimen treated at 1 200 ℃,in the specimen heat treated at 1 500 ℃ for 3 h,TiC is generated,and the sintering state is improved,thus enhancing the specimen properties;(2)the introduction of high titanium slag promotes the sintering of the specimens,with the increase of the high titanium slag addition,the bulk density,cold modulus of rupture,cold compressive strength,oxidation resistance and slag corrosion resistance of the specimens first increase and then decrease;(3)when the high titanium slag addition is 3%,the specimens heat treated at 1 500 ℃ for 3 h exhibit the best overall performance,their bulk density,apparent porosity,cold modulus of rupture and cold compressive strength are 2.97 g·cm-3,17.6%,7.4 MPa and 45.7 MPa,respectively,and they have good oxidation resistance and slag corrosion resistance.

摘要: 为了进一步改善高炉出铁沟用Al2O3-SiC-C浇注料的性能,以棕刚玉、碳化硅、球沥青等为主要原料,高钛渣为添加剂,制备了Al2O3-SiC-C浇注料。研究了高钛渣添加量(加入质量分数分别为0、1%、2%、3%和4%)和热处理温度(1 200和1 500 ℃保温3 h)对浇注料性能的影响。结果表明:1)相较于1 200 ℃,经 1 500 ℃保温3 h热处理后,试样中生成TiC,同时烧结状态得到改善,试样性能得到提升;2)高钛渣的引入促进了试样的烧结,随着高钛渣添加量的增加,试样的体积密度、常温抗折强度、常温耐压强度、抗氧化性和抗渣侵蚀性均先提升后下降;3)当高钛渣添加量为3%(w)时,经1 500 ℃保温3 h后,试样的综合性能最佳,其体积密度、显气孔率、常温抗折强度和常温耐压强度分别为2.97 g·cm-3、17.6%、7.4 MPa和45.7 MPa,抗氧化性和抗渣侵蚀性良好。
