Effect of TiO2 addition on performance of Al2O3-SiC-C taphole clay

摘要: 为了提高Al2O3-SiC-C质炮泥的性能,研究了TiO2添加量(质量分数分别为0、1%、2%、3%、4%)对Al2O3-SiC-C质炮泥热处理后烧后线变化、致密度、常温强度、抗氧化性和抗渣性等性能的影响。结果表明:1)在1 100 ℃保温3 h热处理后,试样均发生收缩,其线收缩率随TiO2的增多而增大;试样的致密度和常温强度也均随TiO2的增多而增大。2)在1 450 ℃保温3 h热处理后,由于试样中莫来石的生成伴随体积膨胀,试样均发生膨胀,其线膨胀率随TiO2的增多而增大;试样的致密度随TiO2的增多而减小;试样的常温强度随TiO2的增多呈先增大后减小的变化趋势,在TiO2添加量为3%(w)时达到最大。3)添加TiO2后,炮泥的抗氧化性和抗渣侵蚀性均略有改善。

Abstract: In order to improve the properties of Al2O3-SiC-C taphole clay,the effects of TiO2 additions (0,1%,2%,3%,and 4%,by mass) on the performance of samples after hot treatment were studied,including the permanent linear change,the density,the cold strength,the oxidation resistance and the slag resistance,etc.The results show that:(1)after heat treatment at 1 100 ℃ for 3 h,all samples shrink and the linear shrinkage rate increases with the TiO2 addition increasing,the density and the cold strength also increase with the increase of TiO2 addition;(2)after heat treatment at 1 450 ℃ for 3 h,all samples expand due to the volume expansion caused by the formation of mullite;with the TiO2 addition increasing,the linear expansion rate increases,the density decreases,and the cold strength increases first and then decreases and reaches the maximum with 3% of TiO2;(3)adding TiO2,the oxidation resistance and the slag corrosion resistance of the taphole clay are slightly improved.
