锂离子电池正极材料用CA6匣钵的改性研究

Modification of CA6 saggers for lithium-ion battery cathode materials

摘要: 锂离子电池正极材料用匣钵材料易被含锂正极材料腐蚀,进而导致匣钵材料损毁,降低其使用寿命。为改善锂离子电池正极材料用匣钵材料的服役性能,提出以La2O3掺杂改性后的CA6为锂离子电池正极材料烧成用匣钵材料,研究La2O3掺杂(外加质量分数分别为0、1.0%、2.0%、3.0%、和4.0%)对CA6材料体积密度、显气孔率等性能以及物相组成、显微结构演变特征的影响,并考察LiMn2O4正极材料在CA6匣钵表面的侵蚀行为和机制。结果表明:La3+以间隙型缺陷的形式进入晶格,同时形成氧空位缺陷,使晶体结构由板条状向六方柱状等轴态发展,致密化程度和力学性能提高。当La2O3掺杂量为4.0%(w)时,体积密度升高至3.14 g·cm-3,显气孔率降低至12.0%。由于La2O3改性后的CA6致密度的提升,其作为匣钵材料时可减少Li+向材料内部渗透,使材料具备良好的抗侵蚀性能。

Abstract: The saggers used for lithium-ion battery cathode materials are easily corroded by lithium-containing cathode materials,which leads to damage of the saggers and reduction of their service life.To improve the service performance,La2O3-doped modified CA6 was proposed as the sagger material.The effects of La2O3 extra-additions (0,1.0%,2.0%,3.0%,and 4.0%,by mass,respectively) on properties of CA6 materials such as bulk density and apparent porosity,as well as phase composition and microstructure evolution characteristics were studied.In addition,the corrosion behavior and mechanism of LiMn2O4 cathode material on the surface of CA6 saggers were investigated.The results show that La3+ enters the lattice in the form of interstitial defects and forms oxygen vacancy defects simultaneously,which makes the crystal structure develop from lath-like to hexagonal columnar equiaxed state,and improves the densification degree and mechanical properties.When the extra-addition of La2O3 is 4.0%,the bulk density increases to 3.14 g·cm-3 and the apparent porosity decreases to 12.0%.Due to the improved density of La2O3-modified CA6,CA6 sagger material can reduce the penetration of Li+,thus exhibiting good corrosion resistance.
