Effect of β-SiAlON content on properties of SiAlON bonded corundum materials

摘要:

以板状刚玉为骨料,以电熔白刚玉粉、Si粉、Al粉和α-Al2O3微粉为基质料,经1 500 ℃保温3 h氮化烧成制备SiAlON结合刚玉材料,并通过调整Si粉和Al粉的加入量设计了β-SiAlON理论生成量(w)分别为10%、20%和30%的三种试样。采用XRD分析试样的物相组成,检测试样的致密度、强度、抗氧化性、抗热震性、抗渣侵蚀性和抗脱硫剂侵蚀性。结果表明:1)所制备的SiAlON结合刚玉材料由刚玉和β-SiAlON组成,其β-SiAlON含量与设计生成量基本吻合。2)随着β-SiAlON含量的增加,SiAlON结合刚玉材料的显气孔率逐渐减小,高温抗折强度、抗氧化性、抗热震性、抗渣侵蚀性和抗脱硫剂侵蚀性均明显提高。

Abstract:

SiAlON bonded corundum materials were prepared using tabular corundum as the aggregatesand white fused corundum powder,Si powder,Al powder,and ultrafine alumina as the matrix,and nitridationfiring at 1 500 ℃ for 3 h.Three samples with the theoretical β-SiAlON generation amount of 10%,20% and 30%,by mass,respectively were designed,through adjusting the additions of Si and Al powders.The phase composition of the samples was analyzed by XRD.The density,the strength,the oxidation resistance,the thermal shock resistance,the slag corrosion resistance and the desulfurizer corrosion resistance of the samples were tested.The results show that:(1)the prepared materials are composed of corundum and β-SiAlON,and the β-SiAlON contentsare basically consistent with the designed ones;(2)with the increase of the β-SiAlON content,the apparent porosity of the as-prepared samples decreases,and the hot modulus of rupture,the oxidation resistance,the thermal shock resistance,the slag corrosion resistance and the desulfurizer corrosion resistance are significantly improved.
