石灰岩尾矿制备多孔陶瓷及其性能研究

Preparation and properties of porous ceramics from limestone tailings

摘要: 为了研究石灰岩尾矿的再利用,以石灰岩尾矿为原料,经破碎、过筛后,加入其总质量5%的水混合均匀后压制成型,再于空气气氛下分别经750、800、850和900 ℃保温2 h制备多孔陶瓷试样,研究了热处理温度对试样物相组成、显微结构及物理性能的影响。结果表明,当热处理温度由750 ℃升高至850 ℃时,试样中方解石完全分解,出现石灰相及硅酸钙相,同时钙黄长石及铝酸三钙的衍射峰数量增多且相对强度增大。此外,试样中的颗粒间间隔增大,显气孔率逐渐增加,而体积密度和常温耐压强度减小。随热处理温度进一步升高至900 ℃时,试样的物理性能及物相组成未发生明显变化。试样经850 ℃热处理后具有最佳的综合性能,其主物相为石英、石灰、钙黄长石、铝酸三钙及硅酸钙,在显气孔率为(45.5±0.1)%时,仍具有(30.9±0.6) MPa的常温耐压强度。

Abstract: This work aims at utilizing limestone tailings.After crushing and sieving,limestone tailings were mixed evenly with water (5% of the total mass) and then pressed into green samples.Porous ceramics were prepared by the heat treating the green samples at 750,800,850,and 900 ℃ for 2 h in air,respectively.Effect of the heat treatment temperatures on the phase composition,microstructure,and physical properties of the porous ceramics was studied.The results show that calcite completely decomposes,and lime and calcium silicate appear in the sample with the heat treatment temperature increasing from 750 ℃ to 850 ℃.Furthermore,the diffraction peaks of gehlenite and tricalcium aluminate intensify.Moreover,the gaps among particles and the apparent porosity increase,while the bulk density and cold crushing strength decrease.As the heat treatment temperature further increases to 900 ℃,there is no significant change in the physical properties and phase composition of the material.The sample has the best comprehensive properties when the heat treatment temperature is 850 ℃.Its main phases are quartz,lime,calcium feldspar,tricalcium aluminate,and calcium silicate.The apparent porosity is (45.5±0.1)%,and the cold crushing strength can still reach (30.9±0.6) MPa.
