天然菱镁矿对转炉环保型水基镁质修补料性能的影响

Effect of natural magnesite on properties of environment-friendly water-based magnesia repair mixes for converters

摘要: 为进一步提高转炉环保型水基镁质修补料的各项性能,在加入不同粒度(5~3、3~1、≤1和≤0.088 mm)的93%(w)的电熔镁砂、5%(w)的SiO2微粉、2%(w)的九水偏硅酸钠、外加0.15%(w)的高效减水剂SD-80的配方基础上,分别以≤0.088 mm的辽南地区优质天然菱镁矿粉(质量分数分别为:0、1%、2%、3%、4%、5%、6%、7%、8%、9%)等量代替≤0.088 mm的电熔镁砂细粉,研究了天然菱镁矿加入量对修补料流动性、体积密度及显气孔率、力学性能、抗渣性能的影响。结果表明:1)天然菱镁矿粉的引入,对环保型水基镁质修补料的流动性及经110 ℃干燥24 h处理后的试样体积密度、显气孔率的影响不明显;2)试样经1 500 ℃保温3 h热处理后,其体积密度、常温强度、高温抗折强度、抗渣性等性能指标具有显著的提升,且当天然菱镁矿粉加入量为4%~5%(w)时,上述性能达到最佳;3)经应用试验验证,天然菱镁矿粉加入量为5%(w)时,环保型水基镁质修补料使用寿命较高、烧结时间最短,在相同冶炼条件下,较传统“黑料”寿命提高100%,烧结时间缩短70%,是最理想的技术方案。

Abstract: To further improve their properties,based on the formulation of 93 mass% fused magnesia (5-3,3-1,≤1 and ≤0.088 mm),5 mass% SiO2 micropowder,2 mass% sodium metasilicate nonahydrate,and extra 0.15 mass% superplasticizer SD-80,the environment-friendly water-based magnesia repair mixes for converters were prepared by replacing the ≤0.088 mm fused magnesia fines in the equal amount with high-quality natural magnesite powder from southern Liaoning (0,1%,2%,3%,4%,5%,6%,7%,8%,and 9%,by mass).The effects of the natural magnesite addition on the fluidity,the bulk density,the apparent porosity,the mechanical properties,and the slag resistance of the repair mixes were studied.The results show that:(1)the introduction of natural magnesite powder has no obvious effect on the fluidity of the repair mixes and the bulk density and the apparent porosity of the samples dried at 110 ℃ for 24 h;(2)the samples fired at 1 500 ℃ for 3 h have significantly improved bulk density,cold strength,hot modulus of rupture,slag resistance and other properties,achieving the best performance with 4%-5% natural magnesite powder;(3)the application test proves that the sample with 5% natural magnesite powder has long service life and the shortest sintering time;under the same smelting conditions,the service life of the sample increases by 100% and the sintering time shortens by 70% compared with the traditional asphalt bonded magnesia carbon repair mixes,which is the most ideal technical scheme.
