B4C添加量对Al2O3-C材料性能的影响

Effect of B4C addition on properties of Al2O3-C materials

摘要: 以板状刚玉(粒度≤1、≤0.075 mm)、Al-Si合金粉(粒度为50 μm)、α-Al2O3微粉(粒度为5 μm)、鳞片石墨(粒度≤0.074 mm)和B4C粉(粒度为20 μm)为原料,硝酸镍为催化剂,酚醛树脂为结合剂制备了Al2O3-C材料,研究了B4C添加量(加入质量分数分别为0、3%、6%和9%)对Al2O3-C材料性能的影响。结果表明:1)随着B4C添加量的增加,试样的线变化率明显减小,常温抗折强度和耐压强度明显增大;当B4C添加量为3%(w)时,试样经1 450 ℃处理后的线变化率降至0.65%,常温抗折强度和耐压强度最高,分别为28.7和57.3 MPa。2)当B4C添加量为6%(w)时,试样经1 400 ℃空气气氛氧化后的氧化指数降至3.9%,抗氧化能力明显增强。

Abstract: Al2O3-C materials were prepared using tabular corundum (≤1 and ≤0.075 mm),Al-Si alloy powder (50 μm),α-Al2O3 micropowder (5 μm),flake graphite (≤0.074 mm) and B4C powder (20 μm) as raw materials,nickel nitrate as the catalyst,and phenolic resin as the binder.Effects of B4C additions (0,3%,6% and 9%,by mass) on the properties of Al2O3-C materials were investigated.The results show that:(1)with the increase of the B4C addition,the linear change rate of the specimens decreases obviously,the cold modulus of rupture and the cold compressive strength increase significantly; with 3% B4C,the linear change rate of the specimen after treatment at 1 450 ℃ decreases to 0.65%,the cold modulus of rupture and the cold compressive strength increase to the maximum values of 28.7 and 57.3 MPa,respectively;(2)with 6% B4C,the oxidation index of the specimen oxidized at 1 400 ℃ in air atmosphere decreases to a minimum of 3.9%,showing significantly enhanced oxidation resistance.
